UpShoot Booking System is a booking and content-delivery platform for real-estate marketing. Realtors order photography, videography, floor plans and image editing for each property; photographers and editors pick up the work, upload finished media and handle revisions — all inside one shared project gallery. We designed the product across web and mobile for three connected roles and their organizations. Property details, images and orders in the screens are illustrative sample content, not real listings.

The core question we faced: how do you turn a messy chain of emails, file transfers and revision notes into one clear flow? Three roles — realtor, photographer and editor — each needed their own view of the same project, and every image had to move from order to upload, review, revision and final delivery without anyone losing track of where it stood.

One project, three roles

Realtors, photographers and editors see the same property through different eyes. Each role — and its organization — needed a tailored view of orders, uploads and tasks, while sharing one source of truth for every piece of content.

Feedback on every pixel

Revisions are where real-estate media slows down. Comments had to land exactly where the problem is — pinned on an image, drawn on a detail or tied to a moment in a video — and reach the right photographer or editor without retyping.

A gallery that scales

A single listing can hold hundreds of photos, videos and floor plans. Uploads had to be renamed, resized and compressed automatically, and the gallery had to stay fast to browse, sort, group by room and download — on a phone and on desktop.

One idea shaped our work: every property is a project, and every project shows exactly where it stands. Realtors create a project, add the property and order content — Photography & Videography or Floor Plan — or process existing media with Image Editing, Virtual Staging and Generate 2-in-1. Each order moves through clear statuses: Draft, Pending, In Progress, Finished and Revision, shown as a progress ring on its card. Finished media lands in a shared gallery with Matrix, Album and Flow views, categories and room grouping. Pinned, drawing and video-timestamp comments drive a colour-coded revision cycle, while a built-in image editor, selection albums and external sharing take content from review to the final listing.

01. EMPATHY AND DEFINE

Real-estate teams juggle photographers, editors and tight listing deadlines, yet orders, files and feedback live in separate tools. We set out to understand where handovers broke down — lost instructions, unclear order status, endless revision threads — and what one platform would need to earn trust from realtors, photographers and editors alike.

Research goals

Map how realtors order, receive, review and share property media — and where delays and confusion set in. Define a single booking lifecycle and status model that every role reads the same way. Clarify the revision flow: pinned comments, drawing markup, video timestamps and forwarding to the right provider. Ensure a fast, consistent gallery experience across mobile and web.

What discovery drew on

We drew on three inputs: the client brief and a detailed work breakdown of every view and feature; working sessions and Q&A with the client to verify the booking state diagram, pricing rules such as HDR sets and the ownership of each flow; and established patterns from photo galleries, proofing and review tools, and service booking apps.

02. IDEATION & CONCEPT SELECTION

We centred the product on one clear direction and refined it. The concept: one project per property, every order visible at a glance. From the content list to order cards, the gallery and the revision view, every choice pulled toward the same feeling — organised, transparent and effortless to hand over.

03. THE REDESIGN

The project kept bringing us back to one question: how do you make every shoot easy to order and every image easy to approve? A shared project answered it — we tied each property to its orders, gave every booking a status anyone can read at a glance, and turned scattered feedback into pinned, colour-coded revisions. The hardest craft was keeping three roles in sync on the same content: realtors, photographers and editors working together across mobile and web, from the first booking to the final listing.
